Cyprus has a strict 0.05% BAC limit. Consider booking a wine tour with transport, or designate a driver. Taxis from Paphos to wine villages cost approximately €40–60 each way.
Most wineries welcome walk-ins, but calling ahead is recommended — especially for groups of 4+. Tastings typically cost €5–15 per person and include 4–6 wines.
Look for indigenous varieties: Xynisteri (crisp white), Maratheftiko (bold red), and Commandaria (ancient dessert wine).
